Welcome to pattyhouser.com, home of Melodiegarten Piano Studio in Burke, Virginia, in Fairfax County. I offer piano lessons in my private studio to students in Northern Virginia as well as teach to students outside the D.C. Metro area via zoom.

 

My mission is to help students figure out what their musical goals are and work with them to achieve those goals. While it's my belief that every student should read music well (and play with good technique) and work to achieve those goals with all of my students so that they can play the piano well and independently for the rest of their lives, I also recognize that some students learn differently from the traditional path and therefore need to be trained in a non-traditional way so they too can reach their full potential.
